Yesterday, it took me several hours to back up a 10GB folder from an external hard drive to Proton Drive. Today, iDrive completed the same task in just 35 minutes. I understand Proton Drive has encryption, which may slow things down. But for my needs, speed and convenience are more important than encryption.
